Bockstael Brussels
In Brussels, ABETEC collaborated with LOW architects on the renovation of an office building from the 1960s. The building, located in the Avenue de Bockstael (Laken), has now been transformed into pleasant office space and youth infrastructure.
The design by @LOW Architects includes:
  1. The main building along Avenue de Bockstael clad in pastel green tiles, consisting of a ground floor and 7 stories, housing the Department of Public Education
  2. A lower building at the back, covered with vertical wooden slats, houses the Youth Service (cultural, sports and educational centre).
  3. A courtyard that gradually connects the city and the green landscape of the park. Because of the proximity of the Tour & Taxis park, the development of a green courtyard that mediates between the city, cultural activities and the park became a guiding theme for their design.
ABETEC was responsible for Stability and Techniques.
