ABETEC architects & engineers nv wins the Design&Build competition for a new nursery and primary school in Appels.
In collaboration with OSKAR architecten and Alheembouw NV.
The project comprises a complete new building in a green environment with learning landscape classrooms (instead of classical classrooms with corridor), a gymnasium and multipurpose room with dining area and warming-up kitchen.
The school will be an open school: the multifunctional areas can be used for a wide range of social purposes, outside school hours.
ABETEC is responsible for the technical study, the structural engineering study, safety coordination and EPB reporting.
