The 'Sint Michiel's' Technical Institute is a school with two locations.  The main school is located in Bree with a first degree and a second and third degree of industrial engineering.  There are 600 pupils in Bree.
The new TISM has new classrooms and subject areas with all ICT possibilities and the use of new techniques in all subject areas.
The new campus gives the opportunity to put all three secondary schools in one domain. This campus gives the schools their own identity and face.
New classrooms and subject areas were designed for subjects such as Mechatronics, sciences and technology.
A new technical education where science and technology are central.    Classrooms with all ICT possibilities and the use of new techniques in all subject areas provide a new and modern technical education for the next generations of young people.  In addition to education and training in daytime education, there is also the possibility of after-school training.
A new mobility and accessibility plan was also drawn up.  This provided opportunities for the realisation of a bus station, access roads and car parks.
