Residents of Beernem and beyond, nice news for you!
After the realization of the new sports hall Drogenbrood in 2013 and the addition of an additional multipurpose hall last year, the ABETEC team is working on the design of a new complex that will seamlessly connect to the already existing sports hall. This complex will house a 25 meter pool with 8 lanes, a paddling pool and an instruction pool with movable bottom suitable for a deep dive or superficial splash for young and old. The new pool will replace the previous one that already dates back to 1972. The owner is Farys (TMVW) and the exploitation is in the hands of the municipality of Beernem.
At the moment, the phase of environmental inquiry is ongoing.
You can go swimming, diving or splashing with the children around the autumn of 2022!
